Please explore the information available below and contact us to enquire about availability of places on the course(s) of your choice.
Important information for Re-Certification:
We will be inviting our past delegates for recertification in weeks 5, 6, 9, 10, 18, 19, 23, 24, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 44 and 45, timed to optimise everyone's certification periods.
If you have not received an invitation from us to attend your re-certification course by two months before the certificates' expiry date, please contact us. If you wish to attend a re-certification course with us but do not hold our current certificate, please contact us.
ESA course participants must meet the requirements and pre-requisites outlined in the rules concerning entry to ESA courses and course progression document available below.
The chart below shows which ASTA ESA-approved Courses match the desired standards and categories of (re)certification.
Please contact us if you need any advice or assistance in selecting the right course(s) for you.
ESA course participants must also meet ESA's visual acuity requirements; the Visual Acuity Form (please click on the link below to download our form) can be taken to your local optician or optometrist who should be able to conduct the test. Please note that a general eye test is not compliant with the ESA requirements. An eye test normally goes to N5 whereas ESA expects N4 to be met. The employer should hold an audit trail of their certified employees' Visual Acuity results.
To apply for a place on a course, please send us the completed application and booking forms. For ESA audit purposes we need one application form per delegate. Courses for more than one person can be made on a single booking form. In that case, you can leave booking forms for other people blank.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
